A Day in the Royal Warsaw Park July 16 2009

It was supposed to be a hot day again so we decided to go to the park. It took us a while to get there because first we got on the wrong bus and we had to walk a long block past this round church to get to the right stop again. We waited for the bus in front of these hefty guys holding up the building. Then we got off the bus a stop early and had to walk a long way in the hot sun. We were glad to get to the cool of the green park.





This is the Royal Park, which is quite large and mostly green grass, large trees and a large long pond thingy with pathways all around.



There were these cute brown squirrels running around.
There were several buildings that all related to the Royal party when they came.


This one is the summer palace which had peacocks around it but unfortunately my camera battery went dead so we will have to wait for Megan to come home from camp to download the pictures from her camera.
